Fit-again Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike has had his name cleared of match fixing allegations in his time with Karabukspor of Turkey. Reports from Turkey said a court in Istanbul acquitted Emenike because of ‘lack of credible evidence’. Emenike had been charged along with some Fenerbahce officials.

The pioneer of in vitro fertilisation, Sir Robert Edwards, has died at the age of 87, the University of Cambridge has confirmed.
